Remember Me
This is a romantic tragic movie by Allen Coulter which flows through two lovers & few characters among them. When we consider the movie it starts with a shocking scene, which is a young mother being robbed & shot dead in front of her 11 year old child by 2 gangsters in a subway. Then story goes on with our any trace of the girl or her father, after 10 years Tyler & his family comes in to play.
Tyler’s family is full of hidden characteristics, all act weird. His kid sister, father Tyler himself. The director clearly shows the horror in which all the family is haunted by their action which runs though out the movie, it was caused by the death of Michael, Tyler’s elder brother.
Then after a considerable time period the girl’s (Ally) character appear in the scene. She also show the side effects from death of her mother, yet the movie has made very strong girl who faces the situation not to let that incident a failure in her life, when the two lovers fall in for them, Ally fights with her father & runs in to Tyler’s place which I find little exaggerated & odd. After all the years & when you run out to a complete stranger?? But the narrator tried to justify the situation by blaming the Ally’s father for not being responsible about the family which is a mere failure.
Ally’s father & Tyler meeting at Tyler’s pig pit is an utter disaster to the relationship between the lovers because Tyler reveals the secret. But the actions justify the behavior of the characters. Narrator changes the situation of every character after Tyler & Ally fall together; it is a very positive sigh. The main incidents in the movie are the dinner with Tyler’s father, art exhibition of Tyler’s sister. But the turning incident is Tyler’s sister had trouble at her friend’s birthday party. After the incident family members reunite including Tyler & Ally. This gives glimpses of positive idea to the viewer as the narrator guides them to a new beginning. By this time the viewer had forgotten the title of the movie, i.e “Remember me” then the movie come to the end by 911 incident in which the story destroys all the hopes & completely disappoint the viewer before is concludes. Finally there are tow positive signs narrated to support the story are reuniting of Tyler’s father & daughter & Ally ultimately using subway.
In character’s point All along the story Tyler is a mystery person, on the other hand Ally is appears as a strong person who guides Tyler, Tyler’s sister is the bond between the failure & success to the movie. Also Tyler’s friend keeps the movie alive.
Remember me was never a star class box office movie at any point, but it is a simple but strong film which can be enjoyed with out hesitation. And any one would like the romantic scenes of Tyler & Ally.
Synopsis
